Yes, merchant can accept cards from cardholders that have Verve, VISA & Master Cards of any bank.
All NOVA Pos terminals are free to merchants. However, merchants have the obligation to keep the device safe from abuse and mishandling.
Prompt settlement is guaranteed. Merchant’s account with NOVA Merchant Bank is promptly credited at T+1 (next working day) for domestic transactions.

Yes, a terminal can be customized for various purposes that will suit merchants’ need.
POS service is available to both new and existing customers. POS Merchant account will be opened to new customers.
The CBN policy currently does not permit the use of savings accounts for merchant services. Therefore, only current and corporate account holders can request POS Terminals.
Yes, merchants can apply for more than one POS terminal. However, the businesses are required to have several pay points with a minimum turnover of ₦3 million.
Requests made within Lagos will take 3 working days while requests made outside Lagos will take 5-7 working days.
For faulty POS terminals, please contact your relationship manager and a technician will be dispatched to your location within 24-48hrs for resolution.
Chargeback requests are filed when a cardholder/customer has been debited for an unsuccessful transaction. The customer contacts his bank/card issuer to submit a chargeback request and requests a refund. Successful chargebacks will be refunded. Funds will be sent back to merchant if chargeback is unsuccessful.
All reversals are instant, however if the transaction isn’t reversed within 24hours, the card holder should visit his or her bank to make a complaint.
